In order to compete with other football academies in year 2025, the management of Liam’s Height Sports Football Academy of Ojo on Tuesday morning had unveiled Kessy Iloba as the new Coach that would be in charge of the team as from next year.
The chairman and technical Director of Liam’s Height Sports Football Academy, Azenabor Williams Christopher unveiled and introduced the new coach to the players and management staff.
Azenabor who was the head coach since the academy was established on May 17th 2024 announced his departure as a coach,while Iloba would be in charge of the academy with immediate effect.
“I am stepping down today as the team’s coach, and Coach Iloba will now be in charge. I am the team’s director, and my main job now is to oversee the managerial and administrative parts of the team.I wish the new coach a successful career as he takes charge of the academy as head coach,” he said.
Iloba while addressing the players expressed joy that he was appointed as the new coach of the academy and promised to take the academy to the next level.
“I am happy to be here and during my stay as head coach in this academy,I will make sure that the players improve in their performance and get right exposure by engaging in scouting programs, good tournaments and top friendly matches within and outside Lagos,”he said.
Speaking on behalf of the academy, captain, Allison Izuchukwu thanked the management for hiring a new coach saying that the players are ready to cooperate and work with the new coach.
Meanwhile, Liam’s Height Sports Football Academy went on a three-week break on Tuesday ahead of the Christmas and New Year’s festive periods.
The academy are expected to resume on 6th, January 2025 at the Ojo Cantonment, Badagry Express Road, Lagos.
Liam’s Height Sports Football Academy played eight matches since the academy was established and they have not lost a match. They ended this year unbeaten.
