Ahead Lagos LG Poll: Osibote To Contest For Councillorship Seat In Mainland

A young businessman and passionate youth advocate, Honourable Muftaudeen Oluwaseun Osibote has declared his intention to contest under All Progressives Party APC for a position of a councillor in Ward I, Okobaba, Mainland Local Government, Lagos.

Osibote while speaking with our correspondent explained that he is coming out to contest for councillorship seat in his ward in order to empower youths through education,skill development and entrepreneurship opportunities.

Osibote who is among the APC aspirants in Mainland Local Government that would contest for APC primary elections soon disclosed that if he is elected as councillor, he would collaborate with relevant stakeholders in Mainland to address pressing issues in his ward and urged his youths and adults in APC to vote for him to win the party primary.

“I Honourable Muftaudeen Oluwaseun Osibote,a young businessman and passionate youth advocate, hereby declare my intention to contest for the position of councillor, Ward I, Okobaba, Lagos Mainland Local Government.

“As a dedicated member of this community, I have witnessed firsthand challenges facing our youths and residents and I pledge to leverage my business acumen, community engagement experience, and youthful energy to empower youth through education, skills development, and entrepreneurship opportunities.

“During my tenure, I would also drive sustainable economic growth, infrastructure development, and social welfare initiatives and amplify the voices of marginalized groups and promote social justice,” he said.

Osibote revealed that his vision is to create a vibrant, prosperous, and inclusive Ward I, where young people can thrive and contribute positively if he is emerged as APC candidate and win the general Council Poll.

“If I am elected as councillor in my ward,as a youth advocate, I will champion youth-led initiatives and programmes,foster mentorship and capacity-building opportunities. I will also ensure youth representation in decision-making processes,operates an inclusive government that values the opinions of the residents of my wards. I will also work tirelessly to serve our community and inspire positive change”he said.
