Prince Kazeem Eletu Club have intensified its preparation ahead of the 1XBet Cup scheduled to kick off on 8 July across various centres in Lagos.
Eletu boys are among the 64 clubs that registered for the annual football tournament
The Lagos-based club have engaged in a series of friendly matches in recent times, and they are yet to be defeated in their last ten matches.
This is the first time Prince Kazeem Eletu boys are participating in the competition, and they are expected to face tough opponents in their campaigns.
Team manager of Prince Kazeem Eletu, Muftau Eletu, expressed confidence in the ability of the coaching crew and players, saying that the competition would bring the best out of his players.
He admitted the toughness of the competition but noted that his players are mentally and physically prepared for the tournament.
“We are aware of the toughness of the competition, and we have intensified our efforts in our training sessions. We would continue to engage in top friendlies to keep our players fit ahead of our first match,” he said.
