Attention will be shifted to the ongoing Agege U-15 football championship on Saturday as four teams battle for the final ticket at the Abesan Sports Center, Ipaja, Alimosho, Lagos.
In the semi final fixtures released by the organisers, Agege Sports Club face Shuffle Football Academy by 10am, while Soccer Plus Academy tackle Arewa Warriors Football Academy by 12noon.
A total of 16 teams registered for the tournament which is being organised by Agege Football Coaches Council under the leadership of Olumide Ajayi.
Secretary of the council, Saheed Sodia commended the efforts of the organising commiittee noted that the tourney has brought the best of the players and gave room for healthy rivalry among the participants.
“This is a competition where teams gave a good account of themselves and the players have really done well in their various clubs.The organising commiittee deserves applause for the job well done, ” he said.
Chairman Disciplinary Commiittee,Lawal Sulaiman expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the participating teams and urged the semi finalists to continue abide by the rules and regulations.
While match coordinator, Surulogba Taiwo Victor said some players have been pencilled down for their good performance and urged the them to continue give their best in their remaining matches.
