Samjason Football Club have continued to maintain unbeaten run following their 6-3 victory recorded against SSFBC in week two of Alimosho Football Coaches Council Championship.
Four matches were played on Thursday at the Adeniran Ogunsanya University College of Education Sports Center, Ijanikin, Badadgry Expressed Road, Lagos.
Aside Samjason victory over their opponents, Realms Athletic lost 1-2 to Sammy FC.Attention FC played 1-1 with Zion Breed as Sports Kedge and Seamoriow encounter ended in barren draw.
Having played two matches so far,Samjason are currently leading the group with six points, Seamoriow FC have four points to occupy second position topping Sammy FC who also have four points with superior goals on the table.
Commenting on their position on the table, Realms Athletic Coach, Undiandeye Emmanuel said he is worried about the team’,s poor run on the league and charged his players to brace up for the future challenges.
“We did not start well in the league and our defeat against Sammy today(Thursday )is a temporary setback for the team on the table.It was a match I expected my boys to win unfortunately we lost due to the carelesness of my players,”he said.
Realms Athletic occupy fifth position on the table having played two matches, drew one and lost one.
In his own reaction,Sammy Coach, Taiwo Eletu said it was a hard fought victory for his boys and identified some grey areas to work on before their next game against Kedge Sports.
