The management of Acquire Football Academy through its Director Mr Nwaobi Izuchukwu Daniel has urged the players to be at their very best as the team prepares to partake in the forthcoming 10 Management/Supreme Kings Scouting Tournament in Port Harcourt at the end of this month.
The program starts on 31 March till 2 April 2024 with the matches involving the 16 participating teams set to be held at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium.
“Opportunities like this are very rare to come by and it’s every player’s dream to make a move that would foster their career development even outside the shores of the country,” Mr Daniel stated.
He also went further to encourage the players to not only play for themselves or the badge but to put up the necessary work in making their families who hold them in high esteem proud,” he said.
Acquire Football Club and Academy has been a team that loves to move out of their comfort zones to embrace challenges and competitions which has earned them so much relevance and respect in the grassroots field as one of the most traveled teams with previous encounters against professional sides like Rivers United, Abia Warriors, Heartland FC, Enyimba FC, Dakkada FC, Abia Comeths, Cynosure FC amongst others.
These encounters have not only helped the players to gain lots of confidence but also exposed them to a glance at the life of a professional and it has been an encouragement for the lads to work harder and dream big.
The management has also shown gratitude for the massive support they have been receiving from the parents and guardians of the students since the start of the fast-growing Acquire Football Academy in 2023.
The players have enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere since their arrival to the facilities and the coaching has been very much commendable.
Some minors have also had the opportunity to be enrolled into any school of their choice and still been able to play after school making it possible for them to achieve both academic excellence and satisfy their passion for football while massive developing their crafts and under close monitoring and supervision of the management.
