Ability Sports FC kick Off Season In Agege, Lagos

A newly established football team, Ability Sports Football Club, is set to commence its activities next month at a venue to be announced within the Agege area of Lagos.

In a press statement issued to our correspondent, the club’s Chairman, Dr. Abiodun Olayinka, revealed plans to officially launch and unveil the team in the presence of management staff and invited media representatives before activities begin in March.

Dr. Olayinka explained that the club was founded as a way of giving back to the community and empowering youths in Agege and its surrounding areas through football. He noted that rising unemployment has contributed to youth involvement in drug abuse and other social vices across the country. According to him, Ability Sports FC aims to provide young people with hope and a brighter future by helping them pursue and achieve their dreams through the sport.

“We have abundant football talent not only in Agege but across Nigeria. Ability Sports FC will serve as a platform for young people who are passionate about football to showcase their skills. We are based in Agege, and next month we will officially announce the club’s activities at a press conference,” he said.

Meanwhile, the team’s coordinator, Habeeb Adebowale Abidemi, stressed the importance of recruiting quality players to enable the club compete effectively with other teams in Agege and across Lagos State.
