Coordinator of Eko Youths Sports Association, Lateef Ogunfowora, has expressed gratitude to Aare Bashiru Fakorede for his cash donations to the association at the Aare Tomori Williamns football Competition.
In the finals played recently,Young Talents defeated Aseyori Queens 3-1 to win the female category while Fortune Academy humbled Olaleye FC 3-2 in the male category.
The competition was held recently at the Campos mini stadium, Lagos Island.
Fakorede, who was among the invited guests that grace the grand finale, expressed satisfaction with the organisation and standard of the game by the finalists.
Fakorede in his speech promised cash donation and scholarship award for three outstanding players.
Ogunfowora said that the sports philanthropist had kept his promises, adding that the association is very grateful to him for his kind gesture.
“I am using this medium to thank Aare Fakorede for his kind gesture. We are happy for contributing to the success of the competition. y giving three3 players scholarship and promise to make cash donation for the association. We would continue to thank him because he had contributed to the success of the association,” he said.
