The chairman of the Media Committee of the Lagos State Football Association (LSFA), Damilare Orimoloye Ezekiel has assured Lagos football family and other stakeholders that his committee would leave nothing to chance to ensure that the image of the FA is projected positively to be a brand that will love by all.
Ezekiel told the members of the committee during a virtual meeting held Tuesday evening that all hands must be on deck, as the Foaud Oki-led board of Lagos State Football Association is poised to change the fortune of the game in the state.
“It is important to emphasize that we all should be aware of the importance of media assignment ahead of us. That is how we can rebrand the media section of all the football committees set up, looking into the challenges of football media, getting standardized equipment that will ease the project, creating website that accessible to everyone, rebranding the public affairs of the media and others,” Ezekiel, who is also a member of the Board of Lagos State Sports Commission said.
He reminded the committee members that “It is a real privilege for us all to be in this honourable committee which was carefully selected by the LSFA as a result of our wealth of experience in the industry. We are here to contribute our wealth of experience to progress of media committee programmes knowing well that media plays major role in football organization, and this I will want every member to see this project as our own way of changing the face of football in Lagos State.”
Member of the committee includes Mrs Titi Oshodi-Eko, who is the Secretary. Oshodi-Eko is also the Head of Public Affairs Unit of Lagos State Sports Commission.
The list include Mrs Olatutu Oladunni, who is also the Chairman of Lagos chapter of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Akeem Busari, a seasoned sports journalist, Musbau Rasak, Editor-in-Chief, The Gazelle News, Taiwo Hussein Aremu, an experience broadcast sports journalist, Femi Adetula, former Public Relations Officer of Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC), Sulaiman Adebayo, Creative Director, Pooja Media and Communications, Taiwo Adelu, Associate Editor, DAFCT Communications, publisher of P.M. EXPRESS, Victor Eyinnaya, Publisher/Managing Editor, Daily Sports, Mrs. Adeola R. Kujenya, a seasoned blogger, Adeyemi Odusakin and Jide Ojo.
