A new group called Transformation Group Campaign Committee, TGCC in Lagos has thrown its weight to 11 aspirants who are contesting for various elective positions ahead of 2026 Lagos State football coaches elections.
The much awaited elections would hold on August 8,2026 at a venue yet to be announced by the electoral committee of LSFCA led by Lanre Olojo-Kosoko known as Wenger.
The 11 aspirants contesting for various elective positions are David Dosu who is contesting for chairmanship position, Ibiyemi Adeleke is vying for the first vice chairman as Uchenna Samuel Eke is running for the second vice chairman.
Other aspirants contesting are Musbau Oseni who has declared to contest for position of secretary.Babalola Issa is also contesting for assistant secretary, while Victor Akinmoyo is vying for financial secretary as Abel Sohe will also contest for welfare/social secretary.
The Transformation Group Campaign Committee also backs Kunle Ajayi to contest for office of Treasurer, while Bagbe Micheal is vying for PRO as Fatai Akande is contesting for Training officer position as well as Rafiu Olorunmbe contesting for provost in the executive post.
Chairman of TGCC, Olumide Ajayi has described all the 11 aspirants well trusted, reliable and visionary leaders who are capable to deliver and bring a massive transformation to the association if they are elected.
Ajayi further said most of the aspirants are leaders in their various councils in the state and they are well exposed, educated and have coaching experience to tutor and mentor the young coaches who want to take coaching profession as career.
“Transformation Group Campaign Committee TGCC has officially announced its 11 aspirants they are supporting in the forthcoming LSFCA elections and we are carefully observed these aspirants have a good track record in their various councils.
“I also want to tell our delegates that they are men of integrity who can take our association to the next level after many of years of stagnation by last adminstration,” he said.
The Leader of Agege Football Coaches Council said the Transformation Group Campaign Committee would start campaigning for all the aspirants and urged the delegates in all 23 councils in the state to vote its aspirants who are hungry for progress,driven by service and committed to transforming the association.
Other members in the Transformation Group Campaign Committee are Oyebande Babatunde Adeshina and Ibiam Jonah Orji.
