Former Leader of Ikeja Football Coaches Council, David Dosu, has picked a nomination form on Monday afternoon ahead of Lagos State Football Coaches Elections scheduled to hold on 8 August, 2026.
Dosu popularly known as Apelete arrived office of electoral committee of LSFCA at Surulere on Monday morning to pick a nomination form and declared his intention to run for position of chairman.
The former Coach of Messiah Football Club was received by electoral committee members on Monday morning and he picked his nomination form by 12:45pm.
Speaking after picking his nomination form, Dosu declared his intention to contest for position of chairman seat and urged the delegates from the 23 football councils in the state to cast their votes for him and his team at the election day.
“I have picked my nomination form and I am ready to contest for the Chairmanship seat.If I am elected as chairman of Lagos State Football Coaches Association LSFCA, I will bring greater transformation to the association and ensure that I move the association to the next level,” said Dosu, who thanked his colleagues in Ikeja Football Coaches Council and other coaches in the state for their unwavering support given him to contest for the Chairmanship seat.
Dosu however noted that the LSFCA has been stagnant for years under the leadership of Tairu Hassan and assured football coaches in the state better days ahead.
He disclosed that during his tenure as a chairman, there would be greater changes in the association and assured coaches to have faith and confidence in his adminstration if he elected as next chairman of the association.
