The newly appointed Electoral Committee of Lagos State Football Coaches Association has announced the date of nomination forms and date of elections.
Recently the Central Working Committee of Lagos State Football Coaches Association LSFCA suspended the leader of the body, Tairu Hassan and his secretary,Rasheed Sulaiman for abuse of office and appointed Electoral Committee headed by Olojo-Kosoko Olanrewaju to be in charge of conducting 2026 state executive elections.
In a statement issued by the secretary of Electoral Committee of Lagos State Football Coaches Association,Alawaye Idris Oluwatoye announced 15th, July, 2026 for sales of nomination forms.
He disclosed that interested aspirants are expected to come for collections of nomination forms begins on Friday at NPA ground,Surulere or National Stadium.
”We urge all interested aspirants to obtain their nomination forms within the stipulated period and comply with every requirement. The Electoral Committee remains available to provide necessary information and ensure a smooth electoral process for everyone,”he said.
He however revealed that elections would hold into the various positions of executive offices of the association on August 8, Saturday, 2026.
Speaking on the elections, chairman of Electoral Committee, Lanre Olojo-Kosoko assured the interested aspirants free fair elections and urged them to always abide by the rules governing the electoral process.
”We members of Electoral Committee are using this medium to assure all aspirants of a transparency, free, fair, and credible electoral process in accordance with the approved electoral guidelines of the Association.
”The Electoral Committee is fully committed to conducting an election that reflects the will of members. We encourage all qualified members to participate peacefully, observe the electoral guidelines and uphold the unity and integrity of our great association,”said Olojo-Kosoko who thanked CWC for appointing him as chairman of electoral committee to conduct the next elections into the executive offices of the association
