Program Director of Badagry Divisional Football Association (BDFA) Caretaker committee, Abel Sohe has announced that the top four teams in both male and female categories would share a sum of N3 million naira as winning price money in the forthcoming RAK Badagry Divisional Football League scheduled to commence next month across various centers in Badagry division.
Sohe disclosed this while speaking with our correspondent that the title sponsor,RAK Development Foundation has announced a sum of N3 million naira as prize money for the teams that would reach the semi final stage along side with a set of jerseys for the semi finalists in both categories.
Sohe said this year’s RAK Badagry Divisional League would be competitive noted that quite number of teams have shown readiness to take part in the competition that would be organised by Badagry Divisional Football Association BDFA.
He also called on club owners and coaches whose clubs are yet to register for the league to do so saying that the organisers would not give room for any team for late registration or submission.
“I am glad to announce that clubs have started showing interest, while some of them have paid for the registration fees.We are going to end the registration entry July 30,2026 and any team fails to meet our deadline would not be accommodated in the day of draw ceremony,”he said.
He also stated that any team that register with BDFA automatically becomes an affiliate member of the BDFA, giving them the opportunity to be part of the division’s football development initiatives.
According to him,wth several exciting innovations and improvements planned for this season, this promises to be the biggest and most rewarding edition.
Sohe Abel however disclosed that the registration fee is N70,000 and encouraged the teams scatter in Badagry Division to seize the opportunity and see RAK league as an opportunity for the young players to come to limelight and showcase their natural talents throughout the tournament.
