BFCC Leader Congratulates Raymond Akaluogbo On His Appointment As Acting chairman Of LSFCA

Leader of Badagry Football Coaches Association (BFCC), Coach Steven Seyon Degboe, has sent a congratulatory message to the newly appointed acting chairman of Lagos State Football Coaches Association (LSFCA), Raymond Akaluogbo.

Members of Central Working Committee of Lagos State Football Coaches Association LSFCA on Monday unanimously adopted the appointment of Akaluogbo as an acting chairman of LSFCA following the suspension of immediate leader, Tairu Hassan and his secretary, Rasheed Sulaiman

The duo were suspended over gross misconducts, abuse of office, refusal to appear before the CWC members and lack of financial transparency and accountability and host of others.

In a congratulatory message sent to our correspondent, Degboe said Akaluogbo appointment was well deserved and called on Lagos football coaches to give him necessary support to succeed during his administration.

“I warmly extend my special congratulations to the new Acting Chairman of the Lagos State Football Coaches Association, Coach Raymond Akaluogbo.As you take on the responsibility of leading this moving train, I pray that Almighty God grants you greater wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and strength to pilot the affairs of football coaches in Lagos State successfully. May your tenure bring peace, unity, and progress to our association.

“I also wish to acknowledge and appreciate the members of the Central Working Committee (CWC) who worked tirelessly to ensure that the Lagos State Football Coaches Association remains strong and united. Your dedication, courage, and commitment are highly commendable. I salute you all and say, Forward ever, backward never” for Lagos State coaches.

Degboe further called on football coaches in the state to join hands and work closely with Coach Raymond Akalubgo in moving the affairs of the association forward noted that Lagos State should be the leading coaches’ association in the federation. Unfortunately, due to leadership challenges in the past, the state has lost its position it deserves.

“I remember how Ogun State conducted its election peacefully, fairly, and transparently. That is the kind of standard expected of a great state like Lagos. Nevertheless, we thank God that a new dawn has arrived.

“I appreciate every member who has joined this new platform.I encourage everyone to remain calm, avoid negative discussions, and focus on contributing meaningful ideas that will help move our association forward. Let us conduct ourselves responsibly, promote unity, and support initiatives that will strengthen the association.

“As we always said, there is strength in unity. Let us demonstrate that unity through our actions and show that together we can build a stronger and more vibrant Lagos State Football Coaches Association,”.he concluded.
