A premier League side, Ikorodu City Football Club would lock horn against Box 2 Box Football Club of Lagos Island in the semi final of Lagos State Challenge Cup known as Lagos FA Cup on Sunday evening (4pm) at Inspire Stadium, Oshodi.
Hundreds of football fans across various parts of the state are expected to storm the match venue as both teams would give their best in the encounter promises to be entertaining.
A victory for Box 2 Box will be the first time the Lagos Island based club would play in Lagos FA Cup final and represent the State at the national federation cup.
Ikorodu City who lost the final last year are in their best form currently and they are fully ready to give their opponents a run for their money.
In other semi final match,Vinod FC would face G12 by 10am.The two teams have not reached the semi final stage before and a winner would not only play in the final,it would also represent the state at the national federation cup for the first time comes next month.
In the female category, Ghetto Tigers face Dream Stars by noon, while FC Robo Queens battle Unification Ladies by 2pm in the semi final stage.
