PHOTOS: Infrastructure Security Takes Centre Stage During NCC Board, IGP Meeting In Abuja

The Board of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has vowed never to leave nothing to chance to ensure that security of telecommunication infrastructures is guaranteed across the country.

This was the reason the Chairman of the Board of the NCC, Chief Idris Olorunnimbe, and the Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of the Commission, Dr. Aminu Maida, paid a working visit to the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Olatunji Disu psc, at the Police Headquarters, Louis Edet House, Abuja on Friday.

Independent News Express reports that during the visit the discussions were centred on deepening collaboration on the security of telecommunication infrastructure and the ongoing implementation of the Presidential Order on Critical National Information Infrastructure (CNII).

The NCC board also seek an enhanced cooperation between both the police and the NCC to bolster Nigeria’s security architecture.
