Agege Football Coaches Council, AFCC, has commended Nigeria Football Federation NFF following the recent appointment of Hakeem Ishola Busari as newly Head Coach of U-17 Women’s National Team known as Flamingos.
NFF recently appointed Busari to be in charge of U-17 Women’s National Team.
Some of the coaches who attended programme where Busari was honoured by Agege Football Coaches Council expressed their delight with his new appointment and described Busari’appointment well deserved.
Speaking on the Busari’s appointment, Leader of Agege Football Coaches Council, Olumide Ajayi said Busari’s appointment came at the right time noted that his appointment was well deserved and commended NFF for the job well done.
“I must thank Nigeria Football Federation NFF for appointing Busari to head the U-17 women’s national team.He is the right man for the job. I am optimistic that he would do well in the newly national assignment and on behalf of my council,I wish him best of luck in his coaching career,”he said.
Vice Leader of Agege Football Coaches Council,Dele Adetona has described Busari appointment as long overdue saying that Busari has contributed to the football coaching development not only in Lagos but Nigeria at large.
He said his expectations was Busari to get a bigger appointment following his immense contributions to the football and coaching development in the country.
He however expressed confidence in the ability of Busari and called on football stakeholders in Lagos to rally round the former 3SC coach in achieving his set goals as a national team coach.
Also speaking, Leader of Ikeja Football Coaches Council,Tunde Adeshina congratulated Busari on his new appointment saying that Busari’s wealth of experience will help the junior women’s national team to excel not only on the continental but also at the intercontinental level.
In his own comment,Abiodun Akinwusi popularly known as Baba Rooney expressed his optimistic that Busari will not only conquer Africa but will rule the world during his tenure.
He advised Busari to see the national assignment as call to serve and a new challenge in his coaching career.He further showered praises on NFF for his appointment and prayed for him as he is preparing the team for qualifying matches.
Speaking in the same vein,Surulogba Taiwo said Busari’s appointment as head coach of U-17 women’s national team is a plus to Agege and Lagos and called on football coaches in the state to always pray and support him.
While Emeka Njoku noted that Busari’s appointment is a welcome development and expressed confidence that the Pacesetter Queens Technical Director would surely succeed on the job based on his wealth of experience and knowledge in coaching over the years.
A football organiser,Oyetunji Bisoye showered praises on NFF for appointing Busari as a new head coach of U-17 women’s national team.He said Busari has worked tirelessly as a club coach in both categories over the years and his appointment was well deserved.
In his response, Busari who was delighted with the accolades received from Lagos football coaches noted that his new assignment would bring the best out of him and promised football stakeholders better and rebranded Flamingo before the qualifying matches.
