U-14 AFCC League Championship: White Soccer Temple Coach Vows To Stop Heart Of Lions

BY SUNDAY AKINTOYE

Head Coach of White Soccer Temple Football Academy, Gbenga Oluwole, has expressed confidence that his boys are fully ready to stop Heart of Lions Football Academy when the two teams clash on Saturday in week four of the U-14 Alimosho Football Coaches Council (AFCC) League Championship.

The league championship is put together by the Alimosho Football Coaches Council of Lagos under the leadership of Uchenna Samuel Eke.

The pulsating tie would be held by 4pm at Abaranje Primary School, Alimosho, Lagos.

White Soccer Temple FA have won two matches and drawn one in their last three. The host team has a better league record, and a draw or defeat against them in tomorrow’s game would be a serious setback for the team.

Oluwole, speaking with our correspondent, boasted that his boys are in high spirits and warned their opponents to forget the victory.

“We have not lost our home matches since the league started, and I don’t see Heart of Lions as a threat. Of course, it is going to be a tough match, but trust me, my boys are winning tomorrow,” he said.

In a swift response, Heart of Lions Coach Afeez Afeez said he was not afraid of the threat posed by his opponents, boasting that he is coming to their ground to take the three points at stake.

“We are going to stop their unbeaten run, and we are not coming there for a draw, but we are coming to beat White Soccer Temple at home. I know it would be a tough game, but I am confident that my boys would come out victorious at the end of the game,” he said.

In other matches played on Saturday, Samjason boys host M.A Galaxy by 11:45am at Egan Grammar School, IGFC boys would be a guest to Stars XI by 2pm at the Harmony field, Baruwa Inside, Ayobo, while Sammy would be at home against Ola Stars by 2pm at Ijegun football field as Ogaga International welcome Adebayo Samba boys by 11am at Adexson football field, Igando-LASU Road.

On Saturday, Wonder Light boys would host Realms Athletic at 2pm at Igando Primary School.
