This day is part of Orun’s vision to structure, over time, African cultural and creative industries capable of generating economic value, skilled employment, and continental and international influence. This initiative is anchored in a measurable trajectory through 2025–2030, conceived as a development foundation.

While speaking to a worldwide audience, Olori Temitope Enitan-Ogunwusi called for unity of purpose among Africans, as a united Africa holds the key to a prosperous future for humanity.

Led by the Africa Currency Network (ACN) and a member of the Kigali International Financial Centre, Orun is a pan-African organisation dedicated to structuring the cultural and creative industries (CCIs) as drivers of sustainable development, cultural sovereignty, and soft power for the African continent.

As a strategic lever for African economies, Orun is part of a dynamic aimed at transforming local economies by elevating African talents and craftsmanship. At the intersection of creation, design, craftsmanship, and transmission, Orun turns craft, narratives, and talents into lasting cultural, economic, and symbolic assets, capable of generating value locally while engaging with strategic stakeholders and international scenes
