Barely two months ago, the club relaunched itself after 15 years of inactivity. Agege-based club, Larry Football Club, has announced a date for an open screening exercise in preparation for the future football tournaments.
In a statement signed by the chairman of the club, Olanrewaju Ebenezer Sanyaolu stated that the three days screening exercise would begin on 12th, February, 2026 at NYSC Camp,Iyana-Ipaja Road,Orile-Agege,Lagos.
“The search for the next generation of football stars officially begins on 12th,13th and 17th, February, 2026 at NYSC Camp football field.
“Larry Football Club is proud to announce its 2026 scouting programme, a specially designed 3-day scouting exercise aimed at discovering raw, talented, and disciplined young footballers who are ready to take their game to the next level.
“From 12th February, 2026, aspiring footballers will have the opportunity to showcase their skills, passion, and commitment in front of experienced coaches like Seyi Abidemi and Dele Adetona as well as professional scouts,”the statement reads.
Sanyaolu in his statement disclosed that the club is looking for young players within ages from 16 to 20 years who have passion to excel in the round leather game.
He emphasised the screening exercise is more than a trial but noted that it is a platform for any young player to be seen, developed, and guided toward a successful football career.
