Defending champions, Brave Football Academy from Mushin on Saturday began its title chase with resounding 7-1 victory against Golden Wealth Academy in their opening group of Jameria Harmony Cup which kicked off last Friday at the Harmony field, Ayobo, Alimosho, Lagos.
Akingbade Quam scored four goals against Golden Wealth boys in the encounter watched by mammoth crowd.
Their opponents gave their best but Brave who were solid in defence saw the likes of Dolapo Lanre,Fashina Seun and Azeez Adeshina also recorded each goal to complete their suprerioty over their opponents.
In the opening match played on Friday,Power Rangers defeated Harmony Set Boys 1-0.Thanks for Aruku Opeyemi who scored the winning goal in the early first half to give their fans something to cheer.
In other results, Orphiel boys were on rampage folllowing 4-1 victory over Treasuredomini FC, Alajede boys lost 1-2 to Ultimate FC, while Trojans FA played 1-1 with Grace United.
Dynamic also played 1-1 with Young Boys, Victory Future Stars lost 0-1 to Gunners FA as Dei Gratia FA walloped Usefulyouth Academy 2-0.
Action resumes on Tuesday when Harmony Boys face Treasuredomini by 12pm, Orphiel Boys battle Power Rangers by 2pm as Golden Wealth Academy confront Alajede Active Voys by 4pm.
