A total of 32 teams across Lagos State are expected to feature in the second edition of Football Fiesta scheduled to kick off next month at the Sansan playground, Igando, Alimosho, Lagos.
Match cordinator,Habeeb Bello confirmed to journalists on Monday that the registration forms are on sales some days ago noting that more than 15 teams have completed their registration forms.
“We are making progress on the sales of forms.Our registration form is N30,000 and presently more than 10 teams have started paying while others promised to do so before the weekend,”he said.
Bello explained that this year’s edition would be better organised saying that works have started to get more sponsors for the competition.
He further said the organisers are working round the clock to make this year’s a memorable one and urged the interested teams to come for their registration forms before the closing date.
“Club owners and coaches have been calling me for the registration forms and I told them that once we have seen the 32 teams, we would closing the registration forms,”he said.
Among the teams expected to feature in this year’s a edition are Rocky Stars, Sterling FC, Sansan boys, Bucknor FC,Super Accurate, Wolves FC, Igando FC and host of others.
