Sunday Victor who is currently playing for Seamoriow Football Academy of Lagos has dedicated the awards he received at the just concluded U-15 Seamoriow Football League Championship to his mother and club chairman, Oluwaseyi Amos.
Victor scored 16 goals in the tournament and was won highest goal scorer award and most valuable player of the tournament.
During the final presentation,Victor received cash gift and Items from the organisers of the tournament.
Speaking with our correspondent, Victor expressed gratitude to God for the awards bestowed on him and particularly dedicated his awards to his mother and Seamoriow boss for their support given him throughout the tournament.
“I am excited about these awards given to me today (Sunday) and I must thank my coaches that give me the chance to showcase my talents in this tournament.
“I also want to thank my teammates for their contributions to my success and I won’t forget the fans too for their support throughout our matches.
“I will specially thank my mom and my club chairman too who always play vital role to my success.I dedicate this awards to the duo because they are instrumental to my success and I am very grateful to them,”he said.
Asked which match was his best moment, Victor said the final was his best moment in his career saying that scoring four goals in.the final was amazing and unbelievable.
Seamoriow Boys humbled defending champions, B United 6-1 in the final, while Adhoc FA walloped 36 Lion FA 3-1in the third place match.
