After several postponements of Oba Akran Cup which is being put together by Badagry Divisional Football Association BDFA, the competition would finally commence across various centers on Thursday in Badagry, Lagos.
Abel Sohe,BDFA Director of the programme confirmed that the competition would kick off across various centers on Thursday saying that the teams involved are fully ready for the biggest football competition in Badagry and its environs.
Sohe disclosed that the delay of the competition was as a result of changes in the leadership of the division argued that there are certain things needed to put in place before the kick off.
“We the caretaker committee of the BDFA under the leadership of Emokpae Osahon recently met the participating teams and discussed issues surrounding the competition.
” I am happy to announce that the competition would finally kick off on Thursday and all the participating teams are looking forward to their opening matches,”he said.
In the fixtures released by the organisers,Inter Javed FC face Ultimate FC by 10am, Young Talent battle Favour Galaxy by noon, while Master FA tackle Roms FA by 2pm.All these three matches would hold at Age Mowo Primary School,Mowo, along Badagry Express Road.
At Ojo Barracks Camp 4 Medical center,Fedan face Prolific by noon, while Oscar Rovers confront Elite FC by 2pm.
Meanwhile six matches would hold across two centers on Friday according to the fixtures.
