The Association of West African Societies of Obstetrics and Gynecology (AWASOG) in collaboration with the West African College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (WACOG) has conferred the Distinguished Meritorious Obstetrics and Gynecological ICON Award on Professor Adetokunbo O. Professor Fabamwo, who currently serves as the Chief Medical Director of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), is a respected academic, administrator, and medical practitioner. His leadership at LASUTH has strengthened institutional standards, enhanced patient care delivery, and positioned the hospital as a leading center of excellence in healthcare.
