Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) strategic partner, GTI Asset Management & Trust Limited have assured teeming soccer fans across the globe that all arrangements are in place regarding the live streaming of NPFL matches ahead of the 2025/2026 season.
GTI Head of Media and Publicity, Andrew Ekejiuba, assured that soccer fans will watch the games on various devices globally.
Ahead of the NPFL 2025/2026 season’s opener scheduled for MKO Sports Arena in Abeokuta, today, between defending champions Remo Stars and Rivers United, he said the cracker will go on as scheduled by 4pm local time.
Ekejiuba further revealed that from today fans can watch all NPFL matches through the OTT platform provided by the broadcast partner Propel Sports Africa. Fans are therefore encouraged to watch these matches free of charge in the NPFL Live App on their mobile devices.
“We encourage all teeming soccer fans to simply download the NPFL Live App from their Apple App Store or Google Play Store from their mobile devices. Then enter your mobile phone number and email to watch for FREE worldwide all the actions in this season’s NPFL.
“Only one NPFL match will be played on Friday, August 22, 2025, in Abeokuta between Remo Stars of Ikenne and Rivers United, while other matches will hold on Sunday, August 24, 2025 according to the schedule earlier made available to the media,” Ekejiuba said.
A breakdown of the matches will be played simultaneously on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at various venues by 4pm local time. The matches are:
1. Abia Warriors vs Kano Pillars in Umuahia
2. Wikki Tourist vs Plateau United in Bauchi
3. Katsina United vs Warri Wolves in Katsina
4. Rangers International vs Kun Kalifat in Enugu
5. Kwara United vs Ikorodu City in Ilorin
6. Shooting Stars vs Bayelsa United in Ibadan
7. Barau vs Enyimba International in Kano
8. Niger Tornadoes vs Nasarawa United in TBA
9. El-Kanemi Warriors vs Bendel Insurance in Maiduguri
Meanwhile, the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) has assured that the match between Shooting Stars and Bayelsa United in Ibadan on Sunday will be relayed live on its network services, thus soccer fans are advised to tune-in to listen to the live radio commentaries.
