Chekas United Boss Dedicates Lifetime Achievement Award To God, Family And Team

Chief Executive Officer of Chekas United Football Club,Chief Chekwube Uzoegbo has dedicated Lifetime Achievement award received from Badagry Divisional Football Association BDFA to God, family and the entire Chekas United Family.
After receiving the award, Uzoegbo told our correspondent that the award bestowed upon him was a testament of his contribution to the grassroots football development in Badagry and its environs in the last few years.
“Let me first and foremost appreciate the executive members of BDFA led by Martins Osondu for counting me worthy to be among the people that received Lifetime Achievement award today (Sunday) It is a thing of joy for me because such award would prompt me to work hard in area of contributing my quota to football development in Badagry.
“However I dedicate this award to God first and I also dedicate it to my lovely wife and children who always support my vision.She always encourage me to contribute to football development which gave birth to Chekas Kids Cup being sponsored by my humble self in the last six years.
“I will not forget to extend this award dedication to the entire Chekas United Feeders coaching crew and players who are currently doing well in the Lagos State League and I wish them best of luck in their remaining matches,”he said.
Commenting on the Badagry League final between Emaljus FC and JP Youngster held on Sunday at the Badagry Grammar School, Uzoegbo commended both teams for football display and congratulated Emaljus FC for their hard fought victory over their opponents.
Emaljus FC defeated JP Youngster 5-4 on penalties after playing 2-2 at the regulation time.
Others awardees are Lagos Lagos State Commissioner of Youths and Social Development, Honourable Mobolaji Ogunlende,Mr Abraham Santhosh and Mr Sesi Koku.
