The Association of Certified Protocol Practitioners in Nigeria (ACPPN) has condoned the Indian Government over the deadly plane crash that killed hundreds of people on board of an aircraft on Thursday 12 June 2025.
At least 290 people died after a passenger plane crashed on departure at an airport in Ahmedabad, India. The plane, en route to London, hit a hostel for doctors when it crashed.
In a statement sent to the Indian Government through the Indian High Commission to Nigeria, the ACPPN’s National Executive expressed grief and sadness over the loss of lives in the aircraft mishap.
Th statement signed by the president of the association, Michael Ikinbo and Secretary General, Oyenusi Adefolarin reads: “ACPPN is deeply saddened to learn about the tragic aircraft mishap that resulted in the loss of over 290 lives. the thought and prayers of the people of Nigeria are with the families and loved ones of the victims.
“This devastating incident is a tremendous blow not only to the families affected but also to the global community. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of India and all those who have been impacted by this tragedy.
“May the soul of the departed rest in pdeace and may God grant strength and solace to those who mourn their losses.
“Please accept the assurances of the President and the entire executive’s deepest sympathy and condolences.”
