SGH Boss Thumbs Up FA For Reviving Lagos State League

Chairman of Supreme God House Sports Academy SGH of Ikeja, Temitayo Sharafadeen Bakare has commended the Lagos State Football Association organisers for bringing back Lagos State League which gives young footballers a platform to showcase their God given talents.

Bakare while assessing the ongoing Lagos State League expressed delight with the revival of the league and thanked Lagos State Football Association under the leadership of Hajj Liammed Olawale Gafar for empowering youths through round leather game.

“I am delighted to see the state league back again because for many years there is nothing like state league but today things have changed.

“I must commend the league management committee under the leadership of Wale Joseph and his members as well as our able Lagos State Football Association, Hajj Gafar for their support to bring back the league so that our young footballers would have a platform to showcase their talents and skills,”he said.

Asked if he is satisfied with the performance of his teams in both male and female category in the ongoing state league,Bakare disclosed that his team have done well in their respective categories and urged his coaching crew to remain focused and steadfast in their remaining matches.

“My team in male and female are in better position on the table presentl.I am happy that the two teams are fighting seriously to qualify for the top four.

“What I can tell them now is to remain focused and ensure that they win their remaining games. I will be disappointed if at the end of the league my team fail to reach super four in both categories,” he said.
