Having secured a draw against Divine Stars, Igando Football Club would be looking for their first home win when they confront White Soccer Academy on Saturday in week two of U-16 Alimosho Football Coaches Council League.
Igando boys played 3-3 with Divine Stars in week one and they are expected to welcome White Soccer Academy on Saturday by 3pm at Sansan football field, Igando, Alimosho, Lagos.
Speaking ahead of tomorrow game, coach of Igando boys, Mohammed Aberejo admitted that their match would be tough but assured their fans total victory.
“I am aware that our opponents are coming with high expectations because they won their home match last week.Honestly it is going to be a tough match for us but I am optimistic that my boys would come out victorious,”he said.
Aberejo explained that his boys are in high spirits and ready to give their opponents a run for their money but warned them against complacency throughout the encounter.
Meanwhile Fantastic Boys would host Divine Stars by 3pm at Oki Primary School, Alagutan,Iyana-Ipaja, Alimosho.
Fantastic who narrowly lost 2-1 to White Soccer Academy would be seeking for their first home victory against Divine Stars who drew 3-3 at home against Igando boys in week one.
A victory for Fantastic against their opponents would put them in comfortable position to fight for a group winners.
In other matches, JSL Nations host Realms Athletic by noon at the Jakande Estate Oke Afa, Isolo, while Ola Stars would be a guest to M.A Galaxy by 2pm at the Triumph Academy School, opposite water corporation Oja Agodo.
Meanwhile, chairman organising committee, Toyin Shoyemi expressed satisfaction with the week one of the league and urged the club owners and coaches to continue play by the rules.
