Lagos Legends Club Pays Courtesy Visit To AIG Adegoke Fayoade

Members of the Lagos Legends Club (LLC) on Thursday, paid a well-intentioned courtesy visit to the AIG Adegoke Fayoade in his office in Lagos.

The LLC, is a group of retired footballers who once plied their trades in Lagos State, playing for several football clubs and at different levels.

According to the Chief Convener of LLC, Engr. Waidi Akanni, who led the entourage, the visit was a show of solidarity to the high-ranking police officer, who is also a football enthusiast and a supporter of ex-footballers.

AIG Fayoade who was honoured as a patron of the LLC, was also presented with a symbolic jersey.

The obviously elated AIG Fayoade, thanked members of the LLC, amongst many of whom he had not seen for decades for the honour bestowed on him and promised to continue his support and encouragement for members of the LLC.

Members of the LLC on the entourage included several ex-Nigeria international players such as Monday Kanu, Wasiu Ipaye, Henry Nwosu, Olumide Banjo, Mba Agbai, Franklin Howard, Friday Ekpo, Edema Benson, Taiwo Oloyede and Friday Elaho.
