Friendly Tie: Oasis Boss Okays With Draw With Bethel Warriors, Hails Team’s Resilience

General Manager of Oasis Football Club of Surulere, Jimo Shittu has praised his boys following their 2-2 draw with Bethel Warriors FC in a recent friendly match at the FIFA legacy pitch of national stadium, Lagos.

Shittu described the friendly match a tough one and commended the opponents for giving his team a good fight.

He noted that the friendly match really brought the best out of his players and urged them to keep the good work.

“The friendly match is an avenue to test the caliber of players and prepare the boys for the football scouting programme coming up at the onikan stadium by April ending.I am satisfied with their performance and the coaching crew are commended for the job well done,”he said.

Shittu boasted that the club has played five friendly matches recently without losing a single match saying that his team are ready to play any club in the state.

“We are ready for any team for friendly match and we want to play as many friendly matches as possible to keep the players fit ahead of future scouting football and high profile football tournaments in the state,”he said.
