Africano FC ambassador in Nigeria, Rev. (Amb) Samuel Ikpea has reassured stakeholders once again that the Africano project is not going to be limited to Nigeria.
Ikpea disclosed this on Wednesday in the Day 2 of the ongoing open screening going on at the National Institute For Sports (NIS) to recruit players for Africano FC, Nigeria when a Togolese young star was involved in the exercise.
“I can reassure everyone that Africano FC is not about Nigeria” he started.
“I am pleased to see a young Togolese player in the screening here in Nigeria fighting for a place in the team, but it will not end here”.
“We shall take the screening exercises to Benin Republic, Togo, Ghana and other African countries after the Nigerian screening, this is to ensure we get the best and give a good representation to Africa in the Africano FC, Brazil project”.
“Africano FC is a brand Africans will be glad to associate with, and am sure that by the time we are through, it’s going to be one of the biggest football projects in Africa to help discover young talents”.
Ikpea also confirmed that the open screening which started on Tuesday will end on Thursday in Lagos after which plans will continue for the next programme of the team.
