After Chekas United Feeders Club won their away match in the ongoing Lagos State League, the head coach of the team, Chukwudi Okafor praised his boys and tasked them to continue the good work they have started.
Chekas United Feeders played three matches won two and drew one match. Their performances in the last three matches were outstanding as they still maintain an unbeaten run on the log
Chekas United Feeders beat Lekki Junior Strikers 2-0 at away in week four of the state league.
Elochukwu Nnaji and Justin Hezekiah were on song for the visiting team in an encounter watched by appreciable crowd.
Okafor while reacting to the victory commended his boys for impressive performance and urged them to continue the good work they had started.
“We came here to win our opponents and which came to pass. My boys were better in this match than in previous matches and I think they deserve commendations.
“I want to believe that the journey is still far and I admonish them to continue the good work they have started so that we can qualify for the Super Four playoff at the end of the league,” he said.
In his own comment, the chairman of Chekas United Feeders, Uzoegbo Chekwube Eulick expressed delight with the outcome of the match and urged the players to remain focused in their remaining matches.
Meanwhile, Arubinjaga Football Academy suffered its second defeat after they lost an away match to Ibeju Lekki United 2-0 on Saturday. Arubinjaga have not won a match after their two matches and they are expected to bounce back in their next match.
