The Imo State University Alumni Association (IMSUAA) Lagos State Chapter (Power House) had her second monthly general meeting of the year which eventually coincided with the Mother’s Day celebration.
The meeting which took place at La Mango, created an opportunity to put smiles on faces of members who were present as Saran-Ify Sport Academy shared some goodies to mark the celebration of the day.
CEO of Saran-Ify Sport Academy, Mrs. Saran-Ify Ọgụike who coincidentally is also the National Treasurer of the National Executive Council (NEC) and a mother who understands what motherhood is all about shared “Power-Packed Goodies” to all who attended the meeting to mark the Mothers Day celebration.
“For me it’s a thing of joy to be here and share this joy with my chapter” Saran-Ify told our correspondent.
“I am glad that this Mother’s day celebration is coinciding with a meeting day and I feel that those who are present would enjoy the celebration” she concluded.
Members who attended the meeting all went home with a package, containing oatmeal, spaghetti and other lovely condiments to make the celebration unique.
In his response and while appreciating the magnanimity of Saran-Ify, Chairman of the Lagos State Chapter, Dr. Prince Nwaulu appreciated the magnanimity of Saran-Ify Ọgụike and appealed for further support from others who could make the Power House Chapter’ a force to reckon with in the Alumni.
“I appreciate this gesture” Dr Nwaulu said. “It is geared towards mobilization of members and on behalf of the Lagos State Chapter, we look forward to more surprises not just from Saran-Ify, but also from others who wish to be part of the developmental plan of the Power House” he concluded.
Lagos Chapter of the IMSUAA are on a mission, and that mission is to ensure that her past glory are reclaimed within the globe.
There are strong indications from the outcome of the meeting that the forthcoming National Convention and Home Coming could also afford Lagos State Chapter to create a big bang that could turn things around.
