A Lagos based NLO team, Dosu Joseph Football Club would begin its open screening ahead of 2004/25 Nationwide League One season, Lagos State Challenge Cup and other future high profile football tournaments.
The much anticipated open screening exercise would begin on 13, January, 2025 at the RVC mini stadium, Isheri, Ojodu Berger, Lagos.
The club management is targeting footballers who are within the ages of 17 to 20 from any part of the country.
The NLO club would also engage in top friendly matches to assess the new players during the screening exercise.
Speaking on the screening exercise, founder of the club, Dosu Joseph told our correspondent that the screening exercise is very crucial to the club saying that any player fails to meet club expectations would not be included in the final list.
“I am not a coach to select players for the screening exercise but our target is to get good new players to fortify the team ahead of our future competitions.Any player fails to measure up would be asked to look for another club,”he said.
Former Super Eagles goalie said the screening exercise would last for two weeks and urged the players to remain focused and show seriousness throughout the screening process.
“Our screening exercise is open for players who are within the age bracket and we are giving the players this platform to showcase their talents and the coaches are there to nurture these talents to stardom,”he said.
