Oasis FC GM Sets Targets For Club In Year 2025

BY SUNDAY AKINTOYE

General Manager of Oasis Football Club of Surulere, Jimo Shittu has set targets for the players and coaching crew in the year 2025.

Shittu in a chat with our correspondent in Lagos said Oasis is one of the state’s top clubs, saying that the management has tasked the players and coaching crew to work in line with the vision and objectives of the club in the new year.

“The management has set targets for the club in the year 2025. Some of our targets is to see our players being invited to junior national teams in various categories and involved in high-profile scouting football tournaments in the state,” he said.

Shittu tasked the players to prepare their minds for future challenges saying that the club would engage in top-friendly matches and high-profile football tournaments within and outside the state.

“Our players and coaching crew should know that Oasis will engage in many programmes this year and the players should raise their game. Any player who fails to meet the club’s expectations would show the way out,” he said.

Shittu, however, disclosed that the club would not feature in this year’s Lagos FA Cup, noting that the management has no regrets about missing the state’s biggest football competition.
