Former Player of Rivers United Football Club,Uche Precious Agu has disclosed his reasons he joined Bendel Insurance ahead of 2024/25 season.
Agu who recently completed his medical and pitch tent with Insurance said he is in the club for various reasons.
He said his first mission in Insurance is to win the NPFL League title and qualifiy the club for CAF champions League comes next season.
The right winger also revealed that winning next year national challenge cup for Insurance is another target he sets for himself.
“I am delighted to join one of the best clubs in the Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL.The club has football pedigree as far as league is concerned in Nigeria and i want to contribute my own quota to the growth and success of the club comes next season.
“I have given myself targets in Insurance.Firstly to win the league for the club and qualify them for CAF tourney.I also want to win national challenge cup for Insurance and always give my best whenever i am given a chance,”he said.
Meanwhile Agu started his football career with Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Club of Lagos before he moved to Rivers United.He also moved to Heartland last season before he finally joined Insurance.
