Badagry League: Straightway Coach Confesses Tough Duel Against Powe Of De Cross

Head Coach of Straightway Football Club, Ikechukwu Ani has confessed that their next match against Power of De Cross Football Club in the ongoing Badagry League would be a tough one.

Straightway FC who started their campaign on a shaky note would face Power Of De Cross FC on Thursday by 10am at the CVD Barracks, Volks,Lagos.

Ani while chatting with our correspondent admitted that they respect their opponents but they are not afraid to play them when both teams clash tomorrow in their second group match.

Ani who is double as a manager of the team expressed confidence in the ability of his boys saying that the encounter would be kneenly contested for the both teams.

“Our second match would be more tougher because we are playing one of the favourites of the league.It is going to be difficult match because our opponents played draw in their first game likewise too.

“it is battle to the finish comes tomorrow and i believe that my boys would give account of themselves in the encounter,”he said.

In other matches played on Wednesday across the venues,Legend beat Young Talent FC 1-0,New Era played 1-1 with International FC, Youngstar shocked Chekas United 1-0, while 36 Lion Badagry humbled Rivas FA 1-0 as Heritage beat D Royal FC 5-4.
