As the the Rising Stars Football League is drawing nearer, some coaches and football stakeholders who attended the seminar in preparation for the league said they were fulfilled and gained a lot from the invited resource persons who delivered different topics concerning the game of football.
The seminar was organised in Lagos recently by Badagry Divisional Football Association BDFA in preparation for the forthcoming Rising Stars League.
More than 70 representatives of participating teams were in attendance. Journalists, referees and other football stakeholders were also in attendance.
Dele Atoun, Secretary of Nigerian Referees Association Lagos Chapter delivered his lecture titled Laws of the Game, Hakeem Busari,a CAF instructor talked about tactics And Strategies of the game, while Peter Okereke talked about Branding and Packaging of Talents.
Some of the coaches who were in attendance said the seminar really exposed them to certain things about modern day football , while some said the seminar really helped them to know more on the latest Laws of the game.

Sammy FC said the seminar touches some aspect of football which he didn’t know before and commended the BDFA for this initiative.
Coach Mike Adebayo, also a board member of BDFA, said the seminar was fantastic and hailed all the resource persons for good delivery.
He also urged his colleagues to take the seminar seriously saying that many things the resource persons discussed would be benefited to the coaches and club owners during the Rising Stars league.
BDFA boss, Martins Osondu thanked the resource persons for honouring the invitations despite their tigh schedules and admonished the coaches and club owners to take the lecture back to their various teams.
“Some of us are here representing our various clubs. Please share this knowledge you acquired today to your players and team management so that when the league starts we would not have much problem about the laws of the game, ” he said.
