Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Adegoke Fayoade, has urged Nigerian youths to stay away from drugs; as drug abuse is damaging to success in their careers.
While speaking to students of Interguide School, Ikeja, invited to the recently held National Symposium organized by the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Lagos Chapter, in collaboration with the National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), CP Fayoade said he would be happy to see the children becoming proud children of their parents and good citizen of their country Nigeria.
“You can only succeed if you take your studies seriously, stay away from drugs, and stay away from peer pressure. This could prevent you from attaining success and making it in life.
“I am glad that the organizers of this symposium invited these students to this event. The fact that they are being exposed to discussions on the danger of drug abuse is a good step in the right direction.
While interacting with Interguide School students, the police commissioner said: “These children are our future, the future of this great country.” CP Fayoade also signed autographs for the students.
