Organisers of the 7th edition of Bola Akindele U-15 boys and girls football tournament would kick off on 8th, June, Saturday, 2024 at the Nigeria Railway Institute, Ebute-Metta,Lagos.
Two matches would be played on the opening day as Sirdona FC face Dragon FC, while Ultimate Strikers battle Rock FC
Meanwhile the female category would commence on 15th June, 2024 at the St. John Primary School Meiran.
Match cordinator, Taofeek Ajibola confirmed that 32 teams are expected in each category being sponsored by Dr Adebola Ismail Akindele who is the Group Director of Courteville Business Solutions PLC.
He explained that the tourney is organised to discover young talents at the tender age and nurture them to stardom.He also admonished the participants to play the game according to the rules and regulations.
“We are preparing for Akindele Cup and all the teams are fully ready for the commencement of the tournament.It is going to be an exciting one this year because of academies registered for the tournament.
“I want our teams to shun any form of social vices during the tournament because of the sponsor attached to the tourney and i wish all the teams best of luck in their outings,”he said.
