In a bid to develop and promote football at the grassroots, Alimosho Football Coaches Council has concluded plans to commence the 2023/24 Alimosho U-16 League.
This was disclosed by the chairman league management committee, Noah Omotunde while speaking with our correspondent over the weekend.
Omotunde said the league would likely commence on April but noted that registrations forms are out and available for any interested football academy owners.
“Our registration forms are still available, and each registration form cost the sum of N50,000. Presently some academy club owners have purchased their registration forms, while others are signifying their interest to take part in the league. We also want to inform the club owners that our registration forms close 31 March and we are starting the league April,” he said.
Omotunde assured better organisation and hitch free legaue saying that all the rules would be followed by the participating teams.
He said the era of using age cheat and flaunting the rules governing the legaue are over saying that any team found guilty would be punished by the disciplinary commiittee.
The inaugural edition of the league held last year and was won by Fit2Live FA, while Samjason was the first runner up as B United occupied third position on the table.
