Right Vision Choice Academy Boss Dumps Lagos FA Cup For League

As the Lagos State Challenge Cup known as Lagos FA Cup is drawing nearer, chairman Vision Choice Football Academy of Ebute Metta, Hammed Sulaimon has explained why he did not register his team in this year’s edition.

More than 50 clubs are expected to feature in this year’s Lagos FA Cup which kicks off ending of this month.

Sulaimon in a chat with our correspondent this morning said he purposely not to play the competition in order to concentrate on Nationwide League Two.

He explained further that he is kneen on the league than Lagos FA Cup saying that the league would help his boys to play more matches than FA Cup.

“Presently i am preparing for league not Lagos FA Cup. I want my boys to play many matches and let me see my players who are fit or not. The coaches are doing well on the players and i would be happy if my boys play to expectations in the league,” he said.

Asked his plans for the academy, Sulaimon popularly known as shooting said his plans is to engage the academy in scouting football tournament and also play outside the state.

He revealed that he had sent one of his coaches, Oseni Sheriff to NIS for coaching course in preparing him for bigger challenges.
