Lagos SWAN Chairman Oladunni Hails SABRE West Africa, US Embassy On Travel Tech Innovation

The chairman of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Olatutu Oladunni has commended SABRE West Africa, which organised the Sabre Technology Travel Expo in collaboration with the US Embassy in Nigeria.

The Sabre Technology Travel Expo was recently held at Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos with the “The Future of African Travels”. It was held to showcase the latest innovations and solutions that SABRÉ West Africa offers to the African travel market, as well as to explore the emerging trends and sustainable opportunities that will shape the future of African travel.

Oladunni hailed the vision behind the organisation of the expo which she described as a timely event when the nations of the world are trying hard to tap into the potentials inherent in the travel market.

Oladunni, who is also a member of the International Center for Protocol and Diplomacy, ICPD London and the Public Relations Officer of the Association of Protocol Practitioners in Nigeria (ACPPN), commended the US Embassy in Nigeria for believing in the organiser, as well as the emerging market of Nigeria’s tourism sector.

At the expo, the Chairman of Lagos SWAN spoke on the Incorporation of Sports with tourism and travel. Oladunni appreciated the President of Sabre West Africa and Central Africa Region,

Mr Joshua Olowo for strengthening and establishing integrative synergy between Sabré and the US Embassy alongside representatives of the US government in the African region.

Olowo applauded the speech made by the Lagos SWAN chairman on the Incorporation of Sports with Tourism and Travel. He said proper steps will be taken as sports plays an integral role in global travel and the global economy.

Dignitaries present at the expo including Julie LeBlanc, Commercial Counselor of the US Embassy, who represented the Consular General US Embassy in Nigeria, Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa who was ably represented by the Chairman of the House Committee on Culture, Arts, Tourism, Hon. Bonu Saanu Solomon among others.
