Bariga Football Club have booked a place in the final of the 1XBET Final 8 after defeating Elite FC 5-4 on penalty shootout out.
The anticipated game which held early today at LASU sports center saw both teams ended the game 1-1 at the full time.
During the penalty shootout, Bariga boys scored all their penalties to beat their opponents and booked a place in the final.
In the second semi final of 1XBET final 8, Young Strikers were not lucky as Odion Ighalo humbled them 3-1 in another cracker watched by hundred of football fans.
Commenting on the two matches, tournament cordinator, Waheed Akanni said it was exciting game for the fans saying that thr best teams had emerged as finalists.
“We have seen the best of football at the grassroots today.All the teams were fantastic and they played good football.Let me particularly congratulate the two finalists for the job well done and i wish them best of luck in the final,”he said.
The final would hold on 23, November at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena formally known as Onikan Stadium, Lagos.
