A Lagos -based NLO team, Dosu Joseph Football Club Coach, Kayode Agboola has reacted following his team 1-1 draw with NNL team, Ikorodu City in the day One of the Lagos Supremacy Cup.
The pulsating encounter held this morning at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena formally known as Onikan Stadium.
Agboola told our correspondent that it was a good start for his team but noted that his team missed some scoring chances that would have resulted to victory.
He explained that both teams gave a good account of themselves but insisted that his team deserved to win the game.
He however also commended his boys for the job well done but charged them to go for victory in their next match.
“It was not a bad start for us because fans believed that Ikorodu City supposed to win us but we thank God that my boys shamed the critics.
“I also commend my boys for coming from behind and drew the game.This is to tell you that we are in this scouting football tournament for a business not a jamboree,”he said.
Meanwhile Olowu Seun cancelled goal deficit towards the full time to give Dosu Joseph Football Club a point to celebrate.
The performance of Ikeja based club was commended by the foreign scouts as coach Agboola was given award of recognition and excellence.
In other matches, Tripple 44 played 2-2 with Imperial Mavlon FC defeated Dino 2-1.The match between Corinthians and Broad City ia still in progress as at filing this report.
