Ahead NWPL: FC Robo Queens’ Media Officer Quits

Barely few days to the 2023/24 Nigeria Women Football League, media officer of Lagos-based club, FC Robo Queens, Saheed Afolabi has officially announced his resignation with immediate effect.

The Nigeria Women Football League Annual General Assembly announed that the season will kick off on Wednesday 15 November 2023

In a press statement, Afolabi said his resignation was necessary to attend to his personal needs saying that he will continue to be of help to the club if the need arises in the future.

“At this moment,i have resigned my appointment as a media officer of FC Robo Queens, this decision was carefully taken as I want to move ahead in my professional career.

“I and the club management have shared fantastic and great moments together which will last long and i wish the club all the best and a trophy laden years ahead,” the statement reads.
