All roads lead to Molade Okoya-Thomas Indoor Sports Hall of the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos when the management and staff of Lagos State Sports Commission and indeed the sports family in the state will hold a grand reception for the celebration of retirement of Mr Emmanuel Aina, the Director of Administration and Human Resources and Prince Kolawole Moses, Director Sports Development in the Commission.
The ceremony has been scheduled to hold from 12 noon on Thursday, 9 November 2023.
The two senior staff of the Lagos State Government have served the state meritoriously in various departments in the Lagos State Civil Service, giving their best to promote what the state stands in the service to humanity.
For Emmanuel Aina, he has been a technocrat in the field of administration and rose through the ladders before he retired in April 2022. His service took him to the nook and crannies of the state from the local government administration to the state level. He joined the Lagos State Sports Commission in 2019.
Kolawole Moses, who is fondly called DSD while he was in the service, was a thorough administrator. He joined the Lagos State Sports Commission as the Director School Sports before moving up the ladder as the Director Sports Development until he retired recently.
While in the school system, Prince Kolawole was the Sports Coordinator at the Education District 6. He was a member of Sports for All Commission, at the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC), member University of Lagos Sports Centre, Akoka, Lagos, member National Council of Sports, member Nigeria Director of Sports Forum and member Southwest Director of Sports Forum.
Prince Kolawole was affiliated with the following professional bodies which include Nigeria Association for Physical and Health Education, Recreation Sport and Dance (NAPHER SD) – where he served as the Chairman at the Local Government level and 1st Vice Chairman at the state level., Sport Physiology Association of Nigeria (SPAN), Nigeria Sport Science Association (NSSA), Nigeria Association for Sports Administration and Management and Teacher Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
