Executive Chairman of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Lagos chapter, Ms. Olatutu Oladunni has congratulated the newly executive of SWAN in Ondo State over the successful conduct of the election of the chapter.
At end of the poll observed by the National SWAN, Segun Giwa of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) was elected as the Chairman to stir the ship of the association, while Joseph Adesuyan of African Independent Television (AIT) and Femi Atolagbe of Hope Newspaper also emerged as General Secretary and Financial Secretary respectively.
Oladunni, on behalf of all members of SWAN in Lagos State, felicitates with members of the association in Ondo State for the courage to organise a smooth election which saw a new executive coming on board.
“I want to congratulate all members of Ondo SWAN for the success of the election and more importantly celebrate with Mr Segun Giwa on the victory that saw him becoming the new chairman. The victory at the election is a victory not only for Giwa and Ondo SWAN, but to all SWAN members in the southwest region of Nigeria.
“We are indeed proud of the success of the election in Ondo State, even as I want to implore all members of the association in the Sunshine State to give the new executive their full support in order to take the association to the next level in the state,” Oladunni said.
